Placemate, Elephant

Svenskt Tenn's placemat will be a beautiful part of your table setting. The Elephant pattern adorns this tablet, which is suitable for everyday use as well as for parties. Svenskt Tenn's founder Estrid Ericson traveled a lot to different places around the world. She was always looking for beautiful objects, textiles and souvenirs to take home and sell in the shop on Strandvägen. It was after a model from the Belgian Congo that she designed the pattern with the small elephants. Svenskt Tenn printed textile Elefant for the first time in the late 1930s.

Care advice
Svenskt Tenn's textile products are machine washed at 40 degrees. Avoid soaking and washing in higher and colder temperatures as the color risks precipitation. Use a mild detergent without bleach. Allow the textile to drip dry. Never centrifuge. When washing, the textiles can shrink by around 3 – 5%.
